SM-HF Modular Scanner System
The SM-HF scanner system provides a modular way of monitoring multiple specimens, or areas of interest, and is designed for use with the CGM-7 or ACM-1A series of ACPD crack growth monitors — or as a standalone scanner system.
The SM-HF system is modular and can be specified or expanded to cover up to 256 specimen channels. Each module is a 4-channel switching unit. The SM1-HF switches the ACPD 0° and 90° signals, while the SM2-HF switches the AC excitation current. Both are controlled by an SC1 scan controller module, built into both the CGM-7 and ACM-1A as standard.

- The SM1-HF can switch signals running at up to 500kHz
- The SM2-HF can switch currents at up to 500kHz and 5A — a perfect partner for the CGM-7
- The SM-HF system can handle up to 256 channels, all controllable from PDsoft
